To provide a suction pad having improved safety and reliability by firmly fixing a suction lip to a sucked face with the sucking and adhering operation of a grip body while reliably maintaining the fixing condition even when the sucked face is irregularly or wavily uneven.

The suction lip 4 is stored in a lip recessed portion 3 of a holder 1. A pressure reducing cam 5 is provided outside a base 2 to give pressure reducing operation to the suction lip 4 via an operation shaft 15. The suction lip 4 includes a flat lip body 14 and the operation shaft 15 embedded and fixed into the center of the lip body 14. The lip body 14 has an elastomer layer 14a and an adhesive layer 14b integrally laminated at least on the side of the sucked face of the elastomer layer 14a. Even when the sucked face is irregular, the adhesive layer 14b is adhered thereto in the condition of being deformed along the irregular face to reliably suck and fix the lip body 14 to the sucked face independently of whether uneven or not, while maintaining the condition for a long period.
