Title:
SUCTION PIPE FOR VACUUM CLEANER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0265825
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable a wide area and a wall side to be continuously cleaned without the replacement of a brush and a nozzle by containing the nozzle in an intermediate cylinder to be freely projected from a suction pipe in a state that the multi-purpose brush is connected.

CONSTITUTION: A suction pipe 10 is fitted on a vacuum cleaner via a flexible hose 12, and the switch of the vacuum cleaner is turned ON, and by a multi-purpose brush 40, a wide area without a hindrance is cleaned. In this case, by a closing cover 14, through an attracting force due to negative pressure, an outlet 13 is sealed, and sucked dust is passed through a bent section 16 and through the interior of a pipe 20 contained in an intermediate cylinder 19, and is stored in the vacuum cleaner. When a wall side or the like is cleaned and when the switch 11 is turned ON, then the forward rotation of a motor 31 is transmitted to a rack gear via a gear 32 and a pinion gear 33, and the pipe 20 is projected from the outlet 13, pushing the closing cover 14. When it is projected to a proper length, then the switch 11 is turned OFF. By the external surface of the pipe 20, the pipe interior of the bent section 16 is closed, and so the attracting force due to the negative pressure is transmitted to the tip of the contained pipe 20.
