CONSTITUTION: When a rotary brush is rotated by a motor 32 at the time of the cleaning of a surface to be cleaned such as a floor surface, fine waste refuse such as dust on the surface to be cleaned is scraped up to be sucked from an opening part 18 and introduced into a cleaner main body through an attaching port 33 to be caught. At this time; a timing belt 38 is revolved by the power of a motor 32 through a bevel gear row and a belt wheel 36, and the edge tool 39 supported on a part of the timing belt 38 is moved along the rotary shaft direction of the rotary brush 12 to cut hair 14 or the like twining around the rotary brush 12 and the cut hair 14 or the like is sucked into the cleaner main body.
