A suction transferring device for glazing is provided with suction pads 4a, 4b, and 21, on a longitudinal swing driving shaft 14 for suction keeping glazing (g), provided around a lateral swing driving shaft 13. The constitution of this device is that, on the longitudinal swing driving shaft 14, a strain gage G is provided to measure the deformation of the longitudinal swing driving shat 14 caused by the weight of suction kept glazing g.
