Abstract:
To provide a sudden-change suppression device that is capable of suppressing generation of a sudden change in an output resulting from a sudden change of an input signal and that is suitable, especially to an audio device.
An analog signal with a full-wave rectifier circuit 1 input is rectified and a rectified wave is output. A smoothing circuit 2 smooths the rectified wave rectified by the full-wave rectifier circuit 1 to form a smoothed waveform. A differential circuit 3 detects a change in a smoothed waveform and a sudden change, and a detection section 4 operates a mute circuit 5 on the basis of an output from the differential circuit.
