Abstract:
To provide a sugar cane harvester capable of properly supporting a load by which, following advance of a machine body, a rotary blade is pressed rearward by crops.SOLUTION: A sugar cane harvester comprises a reaping part 3 which has right and left side walls 72, and has a cutting unit 13 for cutting a part near a root of a crop in a farm field, the crop being introduced between the side walls 72 following advance of the machine body. The cutting unit 13 has: a drive case 15 disposed between the side walls 72; right and left drive shafts 16 extending downward from right and left parts of the drive case 15; and right and left rotary blades 14 each of which is supported at a lower part of the drive shaft 16. There is provided a lateral frame 112 coupled over the right and left side walls 72, and the drive case 15 is supported by the lateral frame 112.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
