Abstract:
To provide a sulfide leaching method capable of improving a leaching reaction rate.SOLUTION: The present invention is a sulfide leaching method in which acid is added to a sulfur compound containing a metal sulfide, in a state coexisting with a metal body, to leach the sulfide. The metal sulfide is a sulfur-rich compound. For example, a sulfide containing nickel and/or cobalt, which is produced by adding a sulfating agent to an aqueous solution obtained by leaching nickel oxide ore with sulfuric acid, can be used. A metal constituting the metal body is preferably a metal having a standard oxidation-reduction potential of 0 V or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
