NEW MATERIAL:A sulfonamide shown by the formula I (R1 is lower alkyl, or lower haloalkyl; R2 is H, or lower alkyl; R3 is R2, lower haloalkyl, or halogen; bond at 4- and 5-positions of pyrazole ring is saturated or unsaturated).
EXAMPLE: 1-(3-Trifluoromethylphenyl)-3-methanesulfonylamino-2-pyrazoline.
USE: An antiphlogistic, antipyretic, analgesic, antithrombotic agent, and diuretic. A compound having low side effects such as stomach disorder, etc. and high safety, and a dose is 10W3,000mg/adult/day in the case of oral administration.
PREPARATION: An aromatic amine shown by the formula II is reacted with a lower alkanesulfonyl halide or lower haloalkanesulfonyl halide shown by the formula III (Hal is halogen) in a solvent such as pyridine, etc. at 10W100°C for 0.5W 3hr to give a compound shown by the formula I.
