PURPOSE: To provide the subject new compounds useful. as a remedy for diseases caused by TAX2, having improved biological stability and/or improved partial agonist effects.
CONSTITUTION: A thromboxane A2 (TXA2) receptor antagonist composed of a compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are H or lower alkyl; R3 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, OH or halogen; X is alkylene or alkenylene; Y is methylene or 0; n is 0-2) or a pharmaceutically permissive salt thereof, e.g. (1R,2S,3S,4S)-(5 Z)-y-(3-phenylsulfonylaminobicyclo [2,2,1]hepto-2-yl-5-heptenohydroxamic acid. The above-mentioned compound can be obtained by reacting an amine of formula II with a compound of formula III (Z is electron attractive group) and is useful as an antithrombotic drug, an antiangiotonic drug or an antibronchoconstriction drug.
