Title:
SULFUR COMPLEX WITH COATING LAYER FORMED ON SURFACE OF SULFUR BASE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015043300
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfur material which is suitable for use as a positive electrode material, and high in conductivity and reactivity, and which makes possible to prevent the elution of a sulfur compound produced at charge and discharge into an electrolytic solution and to increase a sulfur content in a positive electrode, and to provide a positive electrode and a secondary battery which are arranged by use of such a sulfur material, enable the achievement of a high capacity, suffer a less reduction in capacity owing to charge and discharge, and can operate at normal temperatures with stability over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A sulfur complex comprises: a sulfur base; a coating layer of conductive polymer formed on a surface of the sulfur base; and a coating layer of ionic polymer formed on the coating layer of the conductive polymer. A positive electrode comprises: a positive electrode active material layer including the sulfur complex; and a current collector. A secondary battery comprises: the positive electrode; an electrolyte; and a negative electrode.
