In the sulfur separator, a positive charged body 1 is electrified by positive charge, and the sulfur content in the dust coal containing sulfur content is electrified by negative charge; and the sulfur-containing dust coal is brought into contact with the rotating positive charged body 1. The sulfur content attached on the positive charged body is removed at a separate site.
