Abstract:
To provide a summing-up method allowing a load of summing-up the amount to be reduced by facilitating performance of summing-up congratulatory gifts or obituary gifts upon a ceremony such as a wedding or a funeral.SOLUTION: A reception personnel RE of a ceremony place confirms the amount received in a strapped envelop 20 and seals an amount code seal 10 indicating the confirmed amount on the strapped envelop 20 or on an inner envelop 20A. When summing-up the received amount, money taken out of the strapped envelop 20 is gathered for summing-up it as well as the amount code seal 10 sealed on the strapped envelop 20 is read by a code scanner 110 of a summing-up system 100. The read code data are decoded in amount and recorded as readable data 122. In a computer 120 for summing-up, the read data 122 is summed-up through a summing-up program 124 and summed-up data 126 are displayed or printed out using an output device 150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
