To provide a sun visor for a vehicle with a luminaire having a structure that the luminaire is easily switched to the ON state and the OFF state and a light amount of the luminaire is easily adjusted with good operability.
The sun visor 1 for the vehicle with the luminaire has a mirror 3 provided on a visor body 2; a mirror lid 4 position-switched to a closure position for covering a mirror surface of the mirror 3 and an opening position for opening the mirror surface by sliding on an upper surface of the mirror 3; and an luminaire 5 for irradiating an occupant when the mirror 3 is utilized. The sun visor has a light adjustment mechanism 8 for making the luminaire from the Off state to the ON state by sliding the mirror lid 4 from the closure position to the opening position. Then, the light adjustment mechanism 8 also has a mechanism for adjusting a light amount of the luminaire 5 in the ON state in response to the position of the mirror lid 4.
