To provide a sun visor for a vehicle which enables the weight of a mirror unit to be placed on an attachment, and as a result on a vehicle body with a better balance even if a light-weight punching plate is provided, and which secures a wider perspective area.
An opening 11a is provided to the body 11 of the sun visor, and the punching plate 12 on which a number of through holes 12a are opened is provided to the opening 11a. Then the sun visor for the vehicle is attached to the ceiling part 20 of the vehicle so that it can rotate by a spindle 14 and an attaching bracket 15 which are provided on the one end side in the right and left directions of the body 11 of the sun visor. Then the mirror unit 13 is attached and tilted toward the one end side of the body 11 of the sun visor where the attaching bracket 15 is provided, and the mirror part 13b of the mirror unit 13 is drawn out to the midsection side of the body 11 of the sun visor to use.
