Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a hindrance to an operator due to reflected light.SOLUTION: A sun visor includes a liquid crystal shutter function and a polarization function. The sun visor adjusts a visible light transmission of a liquid crystal shutter by a computed value obtainable by an illuminance sensor that senses brightness of surroundings, and a directional sensor that senses a light volume entering a sight line of an operator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
