To provide a sunburn cell-formation inhibitor which exhibits an excellent cell-formation inhibition effect, a skin external preparation and a cosmetic which contain the sunburn cell-formation inhibition.
The sunburn cell-formation inhibitor contains at least one galloyl group-containing compound selected from the group consisting of a galloyl group-containing albiflorin and a galloyl group-containing peoniflorin as an active ingredient. The skin external preparation and the cosmetic contain the sunburn cell-formation inhibitor.
