Abstract:

To provide a sunlight shield member lifting device having a clutch unit capable of smoothly lifting and lowering a sunlight shield member.

The clutch unit comprises a rotary drum 81 driven to turn by operation of an operation cord, a transmission drum 86 for driving a lifting/lowering operation section, first and second engagement means 87, 88 formed on the rotary drum 81 and the transmission drum 86 and a clutch section capable of engaging the first and second engagement means with each other to transmit revolution of the rotary drum 81 to the transmission drum 86 and disengaging the first and second engagement member from each other to disconnect transmission between the rotary drum 81 and the transmission drum 86. When the transmission drum 86 is turned in the direction lowering the sunlight shield member in the state of engaging the first and second engagement means with each other, the clutch section moves the rotary drum 81 away from the transmission drum 86 to disengage the first and second engagement means from each other.
