Abstract:
To provide a super abrasive grain fret-saw blade improving the cutting performance and service life by improving discharge effects of chips and preventing the clogging.
The fret saw 1 is formed by mounting a fret-saw blade 3 on a bow-shaped tool 2. The fret-saw blade 3 is spirally formed with an abrasive grain layer 4 and a part where no abrasive grain layer 4 is formed is functioned as a chip pocket 5. As a result, the abrasive grain layer 4 and the chip pocket 5 alternately appear on the surface in the longitudinal direction. The abrasive grain layer 4 is formed by fixing diamond or super abrasive grains composed of cBN to a base metal by a brazing material containing active metal.
