These nonabrasive grain parts 14 are formed by filling a resin bond material in this cutout part by forming the cutout part by press molding by a form metal mold when forming the abrasive grain layer 12. Thus, since an abrasion degree of the width directional central part and both end parts is almost uniformized by arranging the nonabrasive grain parts 14 in the width directional both end parts of the abrasive grain layer 12, abrasion of the abrasive grain layer surface layer part in use is uniformed in the width direction. Therefore, flatness of the abrasive grain layer surface layer part can be continued over a long period, so that high work accuracy can be maintained over a long period.
