To provide a super-conductive magnet device for space which can cool a superconducting coil to a sufficient temperature region not higher than superconducting transition temperature and can easily secure long term service life, and a propulsion device for space thereof.
A super-conductive magnet device 5 for space and propulsion device 4 for space consist of a superconducting coil 12, an excitation device 13 for exciting the superconducting coil 12, a current lead 14 for electrically connecting the superconducting coil 12 and excitation device 13, a superconducting coil supporting structure part 11 forcing a bus module 3 of a spacecraft 1 to support the superconducting coil 12, a multiple stages of heat shielding plates 17 thermally connected to at least one of the superconducting coil 12, current lead 14 and superconducting coil supporting structure part 11 and provided with a radiation cooling surface 16, and a sun shield 19 provided to the bus module 3.
