Abstract:
To provide a super finishing method of a gear which equally subjects tooth surfaces on both sides in a circumferential direction in a gear to super finishing.SOLUTION: A super finishing method of a gear makes alignment of polished surfaces of a pair of grinding wheels perpendicular to a direction at which a tooth trace of the gear extends, and presses each of the polished surfaces of the pair of grinding wheels against the other side face of both side faces in teeth of the gear. Then, the method moves the grinding wheels from one end to the other end in the axial direction of the gear while oscillating the pair of grinding wheels as a set, and rotates the gear in synchronization with movement in the axial direction of the pair of grinding wheels when the teeth of the gear have a torsion angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
