Title:
SUPER HIGH-RISE BUILDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0941683
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable large-scale modifications to be made with flexibility to suit the needs of the times and changes in lifestyle by erecting support means from foundation ground, supporting aerial bases using the support means, and making a movement means movable between the aerial bases.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of units 24 are piled up in layers and joined to a core surrounded by a frame. The units 24 are constructed of flexible frames, which are formed into modules so that they can be attached to and removed from one another. By adding the rigidity of the units 24 to the core serving as a main skeleton, this entire high-rise building is increased in rigidity and can also be made to absorb the energy of seismic forces or wind pressure. Further, by making the units 24 removable, they can be articulated or expanded to suit the needs of the times, and can also produce an urban space as a whole. The units 24 can be freely separated from one another by floor plates 26.
