PURPOSE: To improve the acceleration property by stopping the feedback control feedback-controlling the supercharged pressure to the target supercharged pressure and operating a supercharged pressure adjusting means in the direction to increase the supercharged pressure when the acceleration state is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: A waste gate valve 21 is provided on a bypass passage 20 provided to reroute a turbine driving a blower 3 constituting a supercharger in a suction passage 2, its opening is adjusted by relieving the supercharged pressure from a pressure passage 22 through a solenoid valve 24, thereby the supercharged pressure is adjusted. This solenoid valve 24 is feedback-controlled by a control unit in response to the deviation between the target supercharged pressure calculated according to the operation state and the actual supercharged pressure obtained by a supercharged pressure sensor 29. When acceleration is detected, the supercharged pressure feedback control is stopped, and the waste gate valve 24 is driven in the direction to increase the supercharged pressure.
