Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve some problems that the size of a device becomes large and its structure becomes complicated due to the fact that a compressor and a regeneration pump are required to be installed for performing the super-charging and the regeneration in order to drive a regeneration pump with exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine and to perform regeneration of energy at the internal combustion engine in which the super-charging is carried out by an air flow rate amplifier with compressed air generated at the compressor being applied as a driving flow.SOLUTION: As a compressor and a regeneration pump for a supercharger device for an internal combustion engine described in the problem above, this invention comprises the same casing, rotor, eccentric shaft and fixed gears as those of the prior art rotary piston engine, the casing is provided with several intake ports and discharging ports of different phases, there are provided air compression means and/or air compression/regeneration means acting as regeneration means operated under substantial equal spaced phases to each other, positive displacement pump for the air compression/regeneration means is changed over for the compressor and the regeneration pump and the super-charging and/or the regeneration operation is carried out in response to an operating state of the internal combustion engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
