Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance with lubricant and thereby curbing degradation of a component and accumulation of sludge.SOLUTION: A supercharger comprises: a supercharger main body; a bearing hole 2a formed on the supercharger main body; a turbine shaft 8 which is rotatably inserted into the bearing hole and has a turbine impeller at one end and a compressor impeller at the other end; a turbine side bearing section 20c and a compressor side bearing section 20d which rotatably support the turbine shaft and are respectively arranged relatively at a side of the turbine impeller in the bearing hole and relatively at the side of a compressor impeller; a cooling oil passage 26 which is laterally arranged in a radial direction of the bearing hole inside the supercharger main body and cools the same with lubricant distributed therethrough; a first oil guiding passage 27 which guides the lubricant, after the same is used for lubricating the compressor side bearing section, into the cooling oil passage; and a second oil guiding passage 30 which guides the lubricant, after the same is used for lubricating the turbine side bearing section, into the cooling oil passage.
