Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption and to improve environmental performance through perfect combustion by performing optimal supercharge by a supercharger even in sudden load fluctuation of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A supercharge support device includes: a supercharger (5) which is driven rotationally by exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine (1) and supercharges supply air; a first hydraulic pump (10) which is connected to a rotary shaft of the supercharger; a second hydraulic pump (11) connected to a crankshaft (2) of the internal combustion engine; a hydraulic circuit (20) which connects the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump; hydraulic pressure flow regulation means (12, 13) disposed in the hydraulic circuit for regulating a flow of hydraulic pressure mutually between the first hydraulic pump and the second hydraulic pump; and a controller (15) which controls operation of the hydraulic pressure flow regulation means. During prescribed load operation of the internal combustion engine, the controller controls the hydraulic pressure flow regulation means to improve supercharging capability of the supercharger by increasing a rotational drive force of the first hydraulic pump in accordance with load fluctuation of the internal combustion engine.
