Abstract:
A magnetic repulsion force is generated from a secondary coil by conducting current through a primary coil and the secondary coil is moved in the direction receding from the primary coil or approaching the primary coil. A superconducting actuator comprises a primary coil (14) having the opposite ends connected with a power supply, and a secondary coil (15) forming a closed circuit by connecting the opposite ends of a superconducting wire. The primary coil (14) and the secondary coil (15) are so arranged that the ends in the axial direction are opposite to one another and the secondary coil (15) is arranged movably relative to the primary coil (14). Magnetic flux F2 repulsing magnetic flux F1 generated in the primary coil (14) is generated in the secondary coil (15) by conducting current through the primary coil (14), and the secondary coil (15) is moved in the direction receding from the primary coil (14) along the axis.
