Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING CERAMIC MAGNET MEASURING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06167555
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a superconducting ceramic magnet measuring device having a magnet detection sensitivity of approximately 10-7-10-8 gauss/Hz1/2.

CONSTITUTION: When external magnetic flux is applied to a superconducting ceramic magnet sensor 1, the sensor 1 generates magnetic resistance and branches current also to the side of a switching element 3. The switching element 3 operates a magnetic resistance amplification element 4. The magnetic resistance amplification element 4 promotes destruction of weak connection state in the crystal grain boundary of a ceramic superconductive element and amplifies magnetic resistance, thus increasing magnetic detection sensitivity. In this manner, only when external magnetic flux is applied to the superconducting ceramic magnetic sensor 1, the magnetic resistance amplification element 4 is operated and then the magnetic detection sensitivity of the superconducting ceramic magnetic sensor 1 is increased, thus obtaining a magnetic detection sensitivity of aproximately 10-7 gauss/Hz1/2.
