Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting coil capable of preventing a superconductive material layer from being damaged during cooling of the superconducting coil.SOLUTION: A superconducting coil includes: a superconducting wire containing a substrate and a superconducting material layer provided on the substrate; and a first insulator made of silicon resin. The superconducting wire has a spiral shape formed by being wound with a space for every circulation. A space in at least an inner peripheral portion of the superconducting coil is filled with only a first insulator. The first insulator holds the spiral shape of the superconducting wire in at least an inner peripheral portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
