Abstract:
To provide a superconducting coil that can stably generate a strong magnetic field by suppressing the occurrence of thermal runaway of the superconducting wire at the time of normal power transition and improving the electromagnetic resistance performance, while avoiding unnecessary increase in coil diameter.SOLUTION: A superconducting coil 1 comprises a superconducting wire 20 having a superconducting layer 25 made of a superconducting material on one of the two sides of a tape-shaped metal substrate 22, a reinforcement wire 40 made of a tape-shaped metal material wound with the superconducting wire 20, and a conductive resin section 12 having conductivity impregnated between the superconducting wire 20 and the reinforcement wire 40, and at least one of the two sides of the reinforcement wire 40 is coated with a release material layer 46 that weakens the adhesion between the reinforcement wire 40 and the conductive resin section 12 more than other parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
