Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING HIGH FREQUENCY ACCELERATION CAVITY AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3968215
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a superconducting high frequency acceleration cavity with no bead line by welding without any necessity of labor and time for manufacturing a surplus metal mold.
SOLUTION: A plate material 2 having superconductivity covers over the outer circumferential surface of a mandrel 1 having a shape accorded with the inside shapes of a large-diameter part and a small-diameter part of the high frequency acceleration cavity 6 and constituted of a material decomposed more easily than the superconductive material, and rotation formed. A cylindrical cavity molding 4 made of the superconducting material and having the large-diameter part and the small-diameter part in a state covering over the outer circumferential surface of the mandrel 1 is thus provided and then the mandrel 1 is decomposed by heating to be taken out outside the cavity molding 4.
