Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING JUNCTION ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3230939
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a superconducting junction element using a superconducting Josephson effect wherein manufacturing is easy and multifunction is realized.
CONSTITUTION: A first junction (Josephson junction) 15a composed of a first upper electrode 11a, a first barrier layer 12a and a first lower electrode 13a, and a second Junction (Josephson Junction) 15b composed of a second upper electrode 11b, a second barrier layer 12b and a second lower electrode 13b are arranged on a substrate 14, sandwiching a coupling part 17 composed of dielectric. The first lower electrode 13a and a second lower electrode 13b are connected in series through a connection electrode 16. A reflection wall 19 composed of superconductor which is connected through the connection electrode 16 is arranged on the periphery of the two Josephson junctions (the first junction 15a and the second junction 15b) containing the coupling part 17.
