Abstract:
To provide a superconducting magnet device capable of performing high-speed cutoff of a superconducting magnet or superconducting wire material burning prevention by providing a heater device capable of performing normal conducting transition of a superconducting coil at high speed.SOLUTION: In a superconducting magnet device 20 comprising a superconducting coil (main coil 1) around which a superconducting wire material is wound and a permanent current switch (PCS 2) electrically connected to an excitation power source 4 for a superconducting coil in parallel with the superconducting coil, the excitation power source 4 is electrically connected with the superconducting coil and the permanent current switch via a current lead 8, the permanent current switch includes a PCS heater winding 11 and a PCS heater power source 12 for a transition from a superconducting state to a normal conducting state, and a current thrown from the PCS heater power source 12 into the PCS heater wiring 11 flows to a heater via at least a portion of the current lead 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
