Abstract:
To provide a superconducting magnet device that allows tuning of the magnetic field distribution.SOLUTION: A superconducting magnet device 10 includes a group of superconducting coils 12 that generate a synthetic magnetic field 24 in a magnetic field utilization space 20 in a direction perpendicular to the central axis of the magnetic field utilization space 20, and includes at least two superconducting coils 12 arranged on one side of the magnetic field utilization space 20 with respect to the central axis, and at least two further superconducting coils 12 arranged on the other side of the magnetic field utilization space 20 with respect to the central axis, and a plurality of vacuum vessels 14 each housing a corresponding superconducting coil 12 out of the group of superconducting coils 12 and movable in the circumferential direction of the magnetic field utilization space 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
