Abstract:

To provide a superconducting magnet that can efficiently alleviate a stress distribution in a winding.

The superconducting magnet has a winding section 1 and a support member 7. The winding section 1 is constituted by winding a tape-shaped superconductive tape wire rod 2 into a cylindrical form, and has a nonconductive material 3 between the wire rods. The support member 7 is prepared at the outer diameter side of the winding wire section 1, thus supporting the winding section 1. The elastic modulus of the nonconductive material 3 is smaller than that of the superconductive tape wire rod 2.
