To provide a superconducting magnetic field generating apparatus capable of magnetic field being formed, as uniform as possible, over a wide range, in an in-cylinder space of a superconducting body, and to provide a method for magnetizing for the superconducting magnetic field generating apparatus, and a nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus which uses the superconducting magnetic field generating apparatus.
This superconducting magnetic field generating apparatus comprises the cylindrical superconducting body 1 that generates a magnetic field by catching a magnetic field, at a temperature which is not higher than the superconducting transition temperature and has an in-cylinder space 10; a cooling apparatus for cooling the superconducting body 1; a vacuum insulation vessel 3 accommodating the superconducting body 1, and a correction coil 4 that corrects a magnetic field distribution in the in-cylinder space 10 of the superconducting body 1 and has a length L in the extending direction of the virtual center axis 11 of the superconducting body 1, the length L which is set to be not larger than the length of the superconducting body 1.
