Abstract:
To provide a superconducting magnetic field generator constituted so as to be capable of increase the uniformity of temperature of a superconductor when magnetizing the superconductor.SOLUTION: A superconducting magnetic field generator 101 comprises a superconductor 1 formed in cylindrical form, for capturing a magnetic field that is applied while being cooled to a superconducting transition temperature or below, and thereby generating a magnetic field; a cooling device 2 equipped with a cold head 3 for generating cold for cooling the superconductor 1 to a superconducting transition temperature or below, the cold head 3 being constituted so that the superconductor 1 is cooled from both axial ends by cold from the cold head 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
