Abstract:
To attain saving of superconducting wires, compactizing and cost reduction of a super conducting motor by setting a critical current value of the superconducting wire against the current value in being energized at high-power output lower than conventional motors.
In the superconducting motor provided with a superconducting coil formed by winding the superconducting wire, a ratio between the critical current value Ic, a current value when a voltage of 1 V/cm is applied to the superconducting wire, and the energized current value Im to the superconducting wire at the maximum output of the superconducting motor is given by Ic:Im=1:6 to 1:2.
