Abstract:
To provide a simple cooling structure which can increase the amount of current application to the normally conductive coil of a superconducting motor.
A superconducting coil 22 is fixed to a rotor 17. The normally conductive coil 19 is fixed to a stator 16. This device is provided with a liquid cooling part 24, which cools the superconducting coil 22 by liquefied hydrogen, on the side of the rotor 17. This is provided with a gas cooling part 26 which cools the normally conducting coil 19, making use of the liquefied hydrogen (gassified hydrogen) being heated and gassified by the heat exchange with the superconducting coil 22, on the side of the stator 16.
