Abstract:
To provide a superconducting rotary electric machine configured to prevent a bearing or a rotary seal member from being frozen.SOLUTION: At least one of a stator 3 and a rotor 4 of a superconducting motor 1 is constituted of a superconducting material which is brought into a superconducting state by cold heat received from liquid nitrogen. Inside of a motor case 2 of the superconducting motor 1, a sealed space S1 which is a vacuum insulation space is formed so as to surround a low-temperature vessel 6. A heating coil 91 configured to heat a rotary shaft 5 is disposed around an outer periphery of the rotary shaft 5 inside of the sealed space S1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
