A superconducting rotor, comprising a coil fitting shaft 1 having a center hole 10 to store a liquid coolant and providing many slots at the external circumference thereof, superconducting field coils which are accommodated within the slots of the coil fitting shaft 1 to form a plurality of poles and inter- pole connecting portions for connecting magnetic poles of the superconducting field coils, uses the superconducting conductor as an inter-pole connecting conductor connected between the magnetic poles and provides such conductor by winding around the external circumference of the linear portion of the superconducting field coil.
