Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING SINTERED THICK FILM AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0455359
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the superconducting sintered thick film excellent in superconductivity, workability, etc., by successively forming a ceramic layer, a metal layer consisting essentially of gold and a paste layer for a superconductor consisting essentially of Bi, Pb, Sr, Ca and copper on a metallic substrate consisting essentially of silver and sintering the laminate.

CONSTITUTION: A ceramic layer (e.g. alumina layer) is formed on a metallic substrate consisting essentially of silver, and further a metallic layer consisting essentially of gold is formed thereon. A paste for a superconductor consisting essentially of bismuth, lead, strontim, calcium and copper is then applied thereon, the laminate is sintered to form a superconductor layer, and a superconducting sintered thick film is obtained. Consequently, the crystal grains in the high-temp. Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu2O10 phase are easily grown, a superconducting sintered thick film having a high superconductivity critical temp. is produced, and the sintered body excellent in workability is obtained because the substrate consisting essentially of silver is used.
