Abstract:
To provide a superconducting wire rod that can improve the cooling performance of superconducting coil while ensuring electrical insulation of superconducting member by insulation tape.SOLUTION: The superconducting wire rod 1 includes a superconducting member 2 extending linearly, a first insulation tape 3 spirally wound with a first gap 31 in the longitudinal direction of the superconducting member 2 for the superconducting member 2, and a second insulation tape 4 spirally wound with a second gap 41 in the longitudinal direction of the superconducting member 2 overlaid on the first insulation tape 3. The second insulation tape 4 is spirally wound in the same direction as the first insulation tape 3 and covers the first gap 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
