Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect the current leads of a superconductive magnet efficiently, highly accurately and safely, in a superconductive magnet device.
SOLUTION: In the superconductive magnet device, the attaching and/or detaching of a first current lead 21 and a second current lead 22 constituting detachable current leads for supplying exciting power source is operated automatically through a driving mechanism 30 employing a piezoelectric ceramic. Accordingly, professional skill is not necessary for operation or maintenance accompanied by attaching and/or detaching and handling is facilitated while no manual work is required even when a multitude of superconductive magnets are magnetized and demagnetized one after another whereby the superconductive magnet device can be operated efficiently. On the other hand, the piezoelectric ceramic is hardly affected by a magnetic field, whereby the driving mechanism can be operated correctly and the necessary contact pressure at a contacting place between a lead contacting unit 21a and an attaching and/or detaching unit 22a necessitated upon every attaching and detaching can be secured correctly.
