PURPOSE: To provide such a superconductive magnetic bearing unit as capable of damping any deflection in time of driving a turning main shaft.

CONSTITUTION: Two superconductive housings 8a and 8b attached with both superconductive bodies 1a and 1b constituting a superconductive magnetic bearing are secured to a housing 6 via high damping capacity materials 7a and 7b, and a turning main shaft 5 is held by means of noncontact with both these superconductive bodies 1a and 1b znd two permanent magnets 2a and 2b being opposed to the formers. Likewise, the turning main shaft 5 is rotated by a driver.
