Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE MAGNETIC SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3251654
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To furnish superconductive magnetic support equipment which can levitate a carrying body stably by a magnetic force without necessitating any special control and can make it run stably in a noncontact manner even when an external force is applied to the carrying body.
CONSTITUTION: Superconductive magnetic support equipment 100 has a support device 1 provided with a superconductive material 3 and a carrying body 2 provided with an iron plate 7, and a magnetic flux is pinned inside the superconductive material 3, while the magnetic flux from the superconductive material 3 of the support device 1 is made to pass through the iron plate 7. Since such a current as to keep the pinned magnetic flux invariable is induced inside the superconductive material 3, a magnetic field caused by this induced current is generated outside the superconductive material 3 and an electromagnetic attractive force acting on the support device 1 is kept invariable substantially. Even when the carrying body 2 shifts vertically or horizontally, a force of levitation and a guiding force act as restoring forces and, therefore, the carrying body 2 can be supported stably in a noncontact manner.
