Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07257961
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase superconductivity transition temp. by incorporating mono- to tetravalent Nb.

CONSTITUTION: Oxide of mono- to tetravalent Nb is mixed with carbonate of Ca, Sr or Ba and this mixture is fired under a reaction at 1,050-1,200°C in vacuum to obtain the objective superconductive material based on a compsn. represented by the formula ANbxOy [where A is Ca, Sr or Ba, (x) is 0.2-4.0 and (y) is a value including the mean valence of mono- to 4.3-valent NB] and having a perovskite type crystal structure and ≥8K critical temp.
