Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE PASTE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0272510
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the formation of a superconductive thick film having a high critical current density by forming the thick film of fine particles prepared by sintering the starting material powders containing the respective compounds of bismuth, lead, strontium, calcium and copper which are the component atoms of a superconductive complex oxide and powder of one or more kinds of noble metals of silver, gold, platinum and palladium or their oxide.

CONSTITUTION: As starting materials, compounds such as oxides, carbonates, hydroxides, nitrates, and fulfates of atoms of bismuch, lead, strontium, calcium and copper are used, and powders of one or more of noble metals of silver, gold, platinum, and palladium or their oxides are added thereto. Then, a chemical treatment is carried out to obtain powders, which are baked to form paste starting powders. The powders are kneaded with a binder such as acryl resins followed by addition of a solvent, a plasticizer, a wetting agent, and an antifoaming agent to form a paste, and a paste film is formed on a base and subjected to heat treatment. Hence, a thick film can be obtained in which the c crystal axis is oriented vertically to the base plane surface, the volume percentage of the high Tc phase is 70% by volume or more, and a critical temperature of 100K or more is shown.
