Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE ROTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08168235
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a superconducting rotor with higher reliability for a gap magnetic field intensity of 2T (tesla) or less. CONSTITUTION: Superconducting rotors 10 includes a cylindrical dense read iron core 14, having a pair of groove holes which are provided face to face on the diameter direction and extend in the vertical direction. A lace track type superconducting coil 20 extending in the vertical direction is surrounding an iron core 14 and also includes straight portions 24, 26 arranged in the groove hole. A race track type heat-shielding body 22 extending in the vertical direction is totally wraps the coil 20 and also including the overall straight portions 28, 30 arranged in the groove hole. The heat-shielding body 22 is isolated overall from the coil 20 and an iron core 14. A pair of end shafts 32, 34 are respectively provided to the iron core 14 and are isolated from the heat-shielding body 22. One end shaft 32 preferentially has an ultra-low temperature agent transferring joint 38 to cool the coil 20, using gaseous helium.
