Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an electromagnetic force proportional to an electromagnetic force instruction value without using a bias current, and to generate no brake owing to eddy current loss.
SOLUTION: A PID regulator 10 for centering in a field cooling time, and a differential circuit 34 for vibration damping used in a spindle rotating time, are provided, and either one of them is selected by a switch 35. In the centering operation in the field cooling time, the output of a position sensor 13, and an object value r1 are comparing operated, and an electromagnet current proportional to 1/2 power is fed to electromagnets 4 and 5 by the PID regulator 10, a reversal amplifier 31, 1/2 power circuits 32 and 33, and power amplifiers 23 and 24. In the vibration damping operation, the output of the position sensor 13 and the object value r1 are compared, and an electromagnet current proportional to the 1/2 power of the electromagnetic force instruction value is fed to the electromagnets 4 and 5, by the integral circuit 34, the switch 35, the reversal circuit 31, the 1/2 power circuits 32 and 33, and the power amplifiers 23 and 24.
